Summary
of the long tunnel
I
have read the book The long tunnel. It was a very great book.
It's
about three students who study in England at the university. They
talked about what they want to do at their summer holidays. Paul
should go to his uncle's cottage in two months in Wales and Charles
and Sheila don't know what they want to do. So Paul says that they
can come to his cottage the last two weeks. Charles and Sheila really
want it, but they don't know were the cottage lie. Paul do a map to
them and he promised to come and meet them at the train station in
Llanvoy. The fifth of August Charles and Sheila arrive to Llanvoy
station in Wales, but Paul wasn't there. They wait at him on a café,
but he doesn't come, so they took up the map and they should try to
find the cottage. Charles and Sheila walk and walk, but then they saw
a cottage, it was Paul's uncle's cottage. They go to the door and
knock on it. It wasn't Paul who opened, it was an other man who says
they had come wrong. Charles and Sheila don't understand, they had
follow Paul's map and they was at the cottage. They go from the
cottage again and at the way Charles find a lap witch he took. It's
was Paul's exam paper.
Charles
and Sheila decided to come back to the cottage at the evening, when
it was dark. When they go to the cottage in the evening they saw a
lorry parked at the yard. They sat behind a bush and listen. There
were men in the house and when the men had go away from the cottage
Sheila climbed up at the cottage and go in at a window.
What
happened in the cottage? Was there men left in the cottage? What talk
the men about and what they want to do? If you read this book you
find the answer.
Well done, Evelina!
